The Royal Spanish Golf Federation has approved the award of three Gold Medals, a Silver Medal and four Plaques of Merit in Golf in recognition of various relevant actions in all sectors of this sport.

Last Tuesday, November 24, Golf de Pals, San Roque City Council (Malaga), the Bellavista Golf Club (Huelva) and Golf Park (Madrid) received the Golf Merit Plate in 2020.

The 2020 Golf Merit Plate in Golf has been received in recognition of its long history since its inauguration in 1966.

Golf de Pals was the first golf course on the Costa Brava (1966) and has hosted numerous national and international competitions. It should be noted that it was the home for the first Open Spain of the European Tour circuit in 1972. Also, it is important to mention the Spanish Amateur Male Championships (1970, 1994 and 2002) and Women (2000 and 2010) and the Spanish Professional Championships in 1984 and 2002.

The golf course with direct access to the Beach & Golf Resort La Costa, is the only Resort on the Costa Brava with direct access to the sea.
