1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 2.1)

The boundaries of the course are defined by painted lines or white stakes, fences or walls (on the course-side edge) supporting the fences that define the course boundary, in that order of precedence.

2. SPECIAL OR MANDATORY RELIEF PROCEDURES.

2.1 Optional Dropping Zones on Holes 8 and 12: Model Local Rule E-1.1RL Model E-1.1

Hole 8: There are two optional dropping zones, only for balls entering the Penalty Area (PA) by crossing the line marked by red and white stakes. The dropping zone nearest to the reference point must be used.

Hole 12: A dropping zone is located behind the green for balls that, when playing this hole, come to rest in the Penalty Area (PA).

2.2 Preferred Lies: Committee Procedures (Model Local Rule E-3): 20 centimetres.

2.3 No Play Zones (Model Local Rule E-8)(RL Model E-8)

a) The area defined by blue stakes and/or white paint, located between the green of hole 16 and the tee of hole 17, is a no play zone treated as ground under repair. The player must take free relief from interference by the no play zone under Rule 16.1f.Regla 16.1f.

3. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (Rule 16.1)

3.1 Ground Under Repair

a)     Any area marked by a solid or broken white line, or by blue stakes.

b) Piled materials (pine needles, leaves, pine cones and branches). At the player’s option, these are also loose impediments.

c)         Tree Roots (Model Local Rule F-9.1)

If a player’s ball lies in a part of the general area cut to fairway height or less and there is interference from exposed tree roots that are in a part of the general area cut to fairway height or less, the tree roots are treated as ground under repair. The player may take free relief under Rule 16.1b, but there is no interference if the roots only interfere with the player’s stance.Regla 16.1b
